The McPeake Family of Belfast were one of the greatest traditional bands of the 1960s.

They were magnificent instrumentalists, excelling on the harp, fiddle, piano and uilleann pipes, as well as being blessed with great voices and a flair for the finest harmony singing. This classic release from 1962 captures them at the height of their powers, simply soaring away through spell binding airs, hornpipes, reels and a variety of heartfelt songs including their masterwork Will Ye Go Lassie Go, a song that has been covered by, among many others, Bob Dylan, The Byrds, the Clancy Brothers, Mark Knopfler and the Chieftains.
